Dr. Jessica Plager, MD – Immunologist
Dr. Jessica Plager is a board-certified immunologist who treats both adults and children for a wide range of allergy and immune-related conditions. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and her Allergy and Immunology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she trained in both pediatric and adult care.
Originally from Berkshire County, Massachusetts, Dr. Plager earned her undergraduate degree at Wesleyan University, graduating second in her class. She later obtained her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Massachusetts, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and received the Department of Medicine’s Outstanding Performance Award.
In addition to several first-author publications in allergy and immunology, Dr. Plager co-authored a textbook chapter focusing on drug allergy. She is also passionate about medical education and completed the Harvard Macy Program for Health Educators (2022–2023). As an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the American College of Allergy & Immunology, she frequently presents at national conferences.
