About Dr. Patel

Dr. Vikas Patel is a board-certified neurologist and neuroendovascular surgeon in New York with more than 10 years of experience in general neurology, neuroradiology, and cerebrovascular disease. He provides care for patients with headaches, migraines, dizziness, back pain, numbness, and other neurological concerns. In addition, he specializes in advanced endovascular treatments for stroke, intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and other complex neurologic conditions. He sees patients aged 19 and older.

Patient Care Approach

• Initial Evaluation: Conducted by Dr. Patel serves as a staff physician and may order diagnostic tests such as EEG, EMG, vascular and general ultrasound, EVOX, MRI, and CT scans. Most tests are performed on-site during the first visit, with urgent cases reviewed immediately if needed.
• Neurological Consultation: Performed directly by Dr. Patel, who reviews all test results and creates a personalized treatment plan.
